Further Information:

Little Moreton Hall is a moated, half-timbered manor house, built for Cheshire landowner William Moreton from around 1504-1508. A Grade 1 listed building, it has three asymmetrical ranges forming a small, rectangular courtyard. It remained in the Moreton family until 1938, when it was transferred to the National Trust. It is also known as Old Moreton Hall.
